Insurance
I am in-network with the following insurance networks/plans:
AllCare Medicare Advantage
BlueCross and/or BlueShield from any state
First Choice Health
GEHA
Health Management Associates (HMA)
Moda
PacificSource
Regence BlueCross BlueShield
Regence Federal Employees Program
Regence Group Administrators
United Healthcare (but UHC Medicare Advantage no longer covers acupuncture)
I am out-of-network with these plans:
Aetna
Cigna
Health Net
Jackson Care Connect, AllCare and all other Medicaid/OHP plans
Providence
WellCare by Health Net
(I am happy to check if you have out-of-network acupuncture benefits—please note that there are no out-of-network benefits for Allcare OHP, Jackson Care Connect OHP, or any United Healthcare Medicare Advantage plan. If you have out-of-network benefits, you can pay for your session on the day of your visit and I’ll give you a “superbill” to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.)
I can also accept your HSA or FSA card for all payments that your plan allows.
Contact me by email or phone and I can help you figure out whether your have acupuncture benefits and what they are. If you don’t, I offer a discounted rate for payments made at the time-of-service.
If you don’t see your insurance company on this list, contact me and I can look into what your situation is.
Medicare does not currently cover acupuncture performed by a Licensed Acupuncturist, but Medicare Advantage plans do. It’s kind of a long story that I’m happy to explain to you if you’re interested…
